Heroes, MRO and...

omg! why my maid go and tidy up my table?! shit. now I don't know where to start...but nvm. I didn't make much progress after Monday anyway. I realised I have quite a number of tutorials to do! oh no! and now Heroes is out...watched the first episode last night. Sylar is just sick...and now Mohinder too. alright. I shall not spill too much...watching episode 2 now! =)

there's MRO (maintenance repair and overhaul) workshop for me for the next 2 days. just came back from the first session...it's quite interesting how things are being run at airports. aircraft maintenance sounds damn stressful. imagine 400 odd ppl breathing down your neck asking you when can the aircraft take off...yuck

recess week

yes it's here!finally!brought home tonnes of books and clothes hoping that I'll do revision and catch up in my work for the next 7-8 days. haven't been this relaxed for a while...

I admit I haven't been very studious in the pass 7 weeks and I'm quite behind on my work. so I'm gonna use this recess week to catch my breath and cover some ground. hopefully this will gimme some momentum to catch up with the class.

HEROES SEASON 3 WILL BE OUT SOON! woohoo! cant wait to watch it. I wonder what Sylar will do...

one and a half more weeks

I feel like a little kid waiting for school holiday to arrive! half of week 6 has gone by and it'll be recess week after week.whee! (=

the CN Yang program has 3 mods of math, 3 mods of physics, 1 mod of chem and 1 mod of bio, half of which one can opt to S/U. I'm struggling with math and have some problem with physics. should I S/U my math? I don't want to give up but I can't let it affect my cummulative GPA either. haiz...what should I do besides trying harder? any advice/opinion? Spanish is getting harder too. but I don't want to S/U it. it's just Level 1 afterall and I plan to continue with Level 2 and 3.

going for a ODAC trekking trip to Cameron, Malaysia from 19th to 22nd. it'll be a good break before I start all the catch-up work in the holidays =)

sept I

skipped Hall DnD for Pee's early birthday celebration. I must say I'm quite disappointed that, among Morpheus, only Garen and I turned up. even the CN Yang group was sad - Ho Fai, Derek and I. but it's OK. bigger portion of the extremely wonderful chocolate cake for those who turned up. and the strawberry cookie/tart, whatever it's called, was damn nice. I had one after another.

I wonder what I missed out of the DnD. pls upload pics soon people!

I need to put in serious(and smart) effort into studying. been too lax on discipline...been a lil non-chalant towards academic work. the chapter on Limits has closed. but I still cant do the tutorials...horrible...

Aug 31st

in a few more hours, it'll be September...August has been exciting and it's ended pretty well. I'm feeling a little stressed on the academic front and relationship wise, it's a test of patience. things are working out a tad better after I've prioritized my commitments...hope things continue to improve

seeing the routine

I wake up, rush to lab, submit the lab report which was done on monday night, do a new experiment, leave the lab, go for lunch, return to hall, nap, do some work, go for tuition, return to hall...that's my wednesday. and the next day is a horrible 5-hour-no-break-but-lectures session. shit

I wanna do well, I really do. I wanna get my 2nd Dan, I wanna go trekking and more than almost everything else, I want...I truly do.
